WSYM rules 2012

These are the rules for the West Suffolk Young Musician competition 2012.

1. All competitors must live or attend school in the West Suffolk Area.

2. They should be 18 or under on 31st August 2012.

3. Competitors must perform music of a standard appropriate to the level at which they enter ie
Level 1 (grades 3-4)
Level 2 (grades 5-6)
Level 3 (grade 7 and above).

4. All competitors must provide their own accompanist and a copy of their music for the Adjudicator.

5. Each entry must be on a separate entry form (you may photocopy this one or download one from the website).

6. The winners of the heats will perform at the Finalists' Concert from which an overall winner will be declared West Suffolk Young Musician.            
                                    
7. The closing date is Monday, 28th November 2011.  Each entry must be on an official entry form, accompanied by a cheque for £5 made payable to "West Suffolk Young Musician" and a stamped addressed envelope.

8. The Adjudicators' decision is final and no correspondence can be entered into.

9. The West Suffolk Young Musician will be awarded a shield to be held for one year. He, or she, may not enter the next competition with the same instrument.
