The Bury St Edmunds Waitrose store collects green tokens in its charity box by the checkout. This month, West Suffolk Young Musician was one of the three beneficiaries and we have just received a cheque for £250. Many thanks to Waitrose and to everyone who put their tokens in the West Suffolk Young Musician slot.

Here are the results of the West Suffolk Young Musician competition heats which took place on 8th and 9th February 2010.

The West Suffolk Young Musician 2009 is the singer Catherine Harrison. Catherine was also the winner at level 3.
Emma Cowper was the winner at Level 2 playing the oboe.
